Evaluation
A diagnostic evaluation will be conducted to determine communication strengths and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Evaluations include caregiver and client interviews and direct formal and informal assessments.
Individual Therapy
In person therapy will be conducted at our office, which has been lovingly dubbed the “speech cottage”. We are located at 2299 Woodbury Avenue, Suite 6, Newington, NH 03801. Community-based services may be available upon request, such as at a local park, childcare center, or in the comfort of your own home.
Teletherapy
Teletherapy services are an effective treatment option and are especially convenient for busy families who are on the go. Teletherapy may include caregiver coaching and direct intervention to best meet the client’s communication needs. Teletherapy services are also offered for situations that arise such as inclement weather, travel, or illness in the family.

Our Process
STEP 2
Evaluation
A diagnostic evaluation will take place to determine if speech-language therapy services are warranted. Evaluations consist of caregiver and client input and a combination of formal and informal assessment procedures.
STEP 3
Develop Plan of Care
An evaluation report will be provided to include assessment results and a treatment plan outlining specific, measurable goals. Service delivery frequency and models will be discussed with the family.
STEP 4
Treatment
Skilled, evidence-based therapy will be provided in order for each client to achieve their goals outlined in their treatment plan. Progress will be closely monitored to ensure optimized outcomes, with written progress provided.
Rates
Rise and Shine Speech Therapy, LLC is a private pay practice, meaning it is NOT in network with any insurance providers at this time. A coded superbill will be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your specific plan ahead of time to understand your out-of-network reimbursement rates.
Evaluation: $250.00
Therapy Session: $100.00
*Rates include travel time and documentation hours
Payment Methods: credit card, cash, or personal check made out to Rise and Shine Speech Therapy, LLC. Speech therapy is eligible for reimbursement with flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA).
Meet Allie
Allie is an experienced and passionate SLP who enjoys working with children and young adults to achieve functional communication skills they can utilize in day-to-day interactions. Allie has over 14 years of experience treating a variety of speech, language and social communication differences with an emphasis on incorporating client’s interests and collaboration with families and other team members. Allie practices a neurodiversity affirming approach to supporting clients and caregivers along their communication journey.
Allie holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in New Hampshire and Maine. Allie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2008 with her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University in 2010.
As a parent of young children who receive specialized support, Allie understands the parent side of treatment and works closely with families to support their specific needs.
Outside of work, Allie enjoys spending time exploring the seacoast with her husband, Nick, and two sons, Wyatt and Max. Allie also likes listening to podcasts, getting outside, and all things true-crime.
